2013

I thought I'd share some of my new years resolutions:

First off- I'd like to graduate High-school.

I would like to get a job; after I graduate.

I want to read the Bible in 90 days using the You Version app; I also want to read the Bible on a daily basis.

I want to be more active.

I want to make a decision on whether or not I will attend college. As I said in my last post, I'm getting into photography and I don't know if I want to do it professionally or not. If I do, I need to find the right college.

I need to save money so I can afford the things I want/need. Such as a car, money for college if I decide to go, things of that nature.

I want to hang out with my friends more; and make new ones. (In real life, not Facebook)

Really master the skill of photography.

I'm sure there's more, but this is all I can think of at the moment. I'll update when I think of more.

Now for the true test: actually sticking with these resolutions.

I'll hang the list on my door so I can see it everyday; and I'll put a check mark on the things I accomplish. Hopefully that'll help.

Photography!

I've always wanted to get into photography; I just love the idea of taking pictures and making them my own.

Well, I found this really cool application that let's you customize and edit picture that you've already taken from your phone and saved, or ones that you've just taken with the app. So, since I can't afford a camera right now, this is what I'll be using.

I do plan on getting an actual camera as soon as I can. I want to do some research on it and see what cameras are best for photography; and I'll have to save for one.

I'm just really excited that I've actually found something that I really enjoy and am good at!

If any of you know of any good cameras for photography please let me know!

I've posted a few of the photos I've done so far. Enjoy!

Imagine

Just imagine it:
Black Friday, you walk out of the store get to your car and realize everything you've just bought has been stolen from you.

Your story is aired on the news; a local NFL player hears of it and calls you personally after a game to tell you he's going to give you the money to replace what was stolen; and even talks to your son.

The holidays can be and are hard on a lot of families. But because of the generosity of this one man, one family won't have to worry about not having gifts for their children.

When I read this story, I about cried. I think it was so sweet of this man to do this for a family he's never met.

So maybe next time you see or hear of someone struggling, give a little. Whether it be money, food, clothes or even just a smile, the smallest amount can make a huge difference in someone's life.
